Make a difference by joining us for the Canary Challenge! Support the Stanford Cancer Institute (SCI), and be a partner in fueling innovative cancer research and excellent supportive care.

The Canary Challenge is a fully supported bike ride, with multiple food and water stops, mechanical and medical assistance, massages and plenty of SWAG. The Canary Challenge caters to all levels of cycling strength–from weekend warriors and tandem cyclists to time trial champions. It is a ride for everyone!

Select from 5-kilometer, 50-kilometer, 75-kilometer, 100-kilometer, and 100-mile bike rides through the foothills of the Bay Area Peninsula, with the 100K and 100-mile routes taking cyclists up and over Skyline Boulevard, through Pescadero and San Gregorio, onto Highway 1, and up the coast. You will experience epic biking, amazing scenery, great food and camaraderie that all combine to make this charitable event exciting and fun.

The pro Canary Challenge volunteer staff takes care of all the details, so you can focus on riding carefully planned routes on scenic roads. It’s challenging yet doable. Meals, snacks, bike support, SAG support, and all of the logistics are included when you reach your fundraising minimum. On the road, the Canary Challenge support team is always nearby to assist you, keep you happy and healthy, and make your ride exceptionally memorable.
